so what is Labor Day all about?.....yeh, I know Google is my friend and I live with an American but I feel lazy today :P

the rest of the world celebrates Labor Day on May 1, but during the Cold War, May 1 was too closely associated with the Communist holiday thus we created the first monday in September.

Cobblers - the rest of the world doesn't celebrate Labor Day at all!

1st of May is May Day in the UK, Labor Day simply doesn't exist.

Make sure you're wearing clean knickers. You never know when you'll be run over by a bus.
