Quick Biometric question?

I have received the biometric appointment today.

On it, it states that Case Type: I765 application for employment authorization

so when i received my NOA1 papers for all three forms, only I-485 notice of action stated, that now I am to wait for Biometric appointment.

On the NOA1 paper for I765 there's no next step.

so I am a bit worried if I am to wait for another biometric letter for I-485, god if that's the case then more time will pass :(

I know I never really see anybody having two biometrics but then why they state the Case Type as I-765?

any thoughts?

(oh and yes, everything filed concurrently, you may check my timeline)

no i know they can't ask another one for 765 again, i am asking is there another one for 485 too? i am confused?

No you only do the one biometric appointment but it is for both the AOS and the EAD. I noticed on my biometric letter it has both file numbers on it, did yours?

nope there's only one application number, which corresponds to my application number for the I-765.

also case type: I765 Application for Employment Authorization

so I guess the answer is a yes huh, I am gonna wait for another appointment letter for 485 biometrics....?

That shouldnt be the case, its one letter that covers both.

I also got my letter today and it has both application # and barcodes for each at the bottom of the letter, check over the entire letter just to be certain as both should be on it.

AOS from K-1

3/09/2011: filed I-485 + EAD

3/11: Delivered Chicago Lockbox

3/15: text and email confirmation/Check Cashed/NOA1 sent

3/16: touched

3/18: rec hardcopy NOA1

3/21: rec biometrics appointment for 4/08 planning walk in for 3/23

3/22: successful walk in biometrics exactly 3 months since POE

5/14: touched/text & email notice of EAD approval

5/16: EAD in hand

7/1: Text/email notice for interview

8/3: Interview.............Approved!!!!

8/13: Green Card in hand

Maybe because AOS for those who replied were from K1? Are you coming off from K1 process? I'm following this post for reference.

no i am not planning on that, not even sure if that's possible, i doubt though, they give appointment dates based on the availability. also mine is on 15th so yours not bad

You should have both applications on your letter, but you will not have two appointments. When you go, I would mention the I-485 and make sure that they put your print in the system for that too. Good luck.
