Hi Guys,

I took the oath today at 12:30 it was almost 2 hour process started at 11:15 till 12:30 took a lot of pic. Thanks for all the support from this site . I hope everybody gets their oath ceremony soon.

Hope he does not burn that bridge behind him as he is probably not done with the USCIS yet. K-1, spousal, or family based visas will take him back :lol:

Well at least for now, can remove that green card stapled to his forehead, and move without informing the USCIS. And perhaps get to carry two passports instead of just one.

A big thing for my wife was to get off of her employers illegal immigrant watch list. But I can't blame them can be fined by the state for $16,300.00 if her green card was expired.

She did ask me how to vote. Said it is simple, vote once every two years, if the democrats are in power, vote republican or vice-versa, because in either case, we are unhappy what the party in power has done for the last two years.

She was happy to get a new SS card, but asked me how much money she will get. Well, if you believe what some congressman are saying, nothing.

She was happy to get a new US passport, but only good for leaving and entering this country, still needs her home country passport to enter and leave that place. Said, we could try going someplace else for a change.

When applying for a new drivers' license, least in our state, only has to check the I am a US citizen box, where before she had to check that LPR box meaning she had to show her green card. When I questioned the agent about that, asked can a an illegal do that and get a license? No response, but if my wife did that, and the USCIS learned about it, she could have been deported. But I gather they don't deport illegals.

I do not believe that I am making this stuff up.
