They will reject your AOS and send it back due to incorrect fees. It will need to be sent back with correct fees, probably delaying your AOS application by a few weeks.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Dump the lawyer and try and get your money back. Collectively, VJ is a much more valuable resource, unless you have a particularly complicated case.

i came asking for my money back, but the idiot screamed into my face. At that time he hasn't completed the paperwork yet. The idiot was so rude, he said you already wasted my time by coming here in the first place and that i wont be getting all my money back. So i told the idiot go ahead and continued with our paperwork then. The idiot said he knows everything about immigration so i have nothing to worry about. He promised to send out the package so i continued to emailing him twice asking if he sends it out yet. Son of gun emailed me back saying dont ever email him again and that im starting to get on his nerve. He sent it out a week later with the wrong darn fees. I want to blow up in his face but then again i will gain nothing from this. Oh well, a lesson to learn from.

you should be able to file a complaint with the state bar association.. maybe that will help retrieve some of the fees you've paid him? make sure you keep all of his unprofessional emails.

lol there is no expedite for user error! specially not for incorrect fees, sorry. If it was USCIS's fault then maybe you could get an expedite but it would be difficult to prove their fault.

I would ask him for some of it back and then if he said no, loss is loss and just work some extra shifts to "make it back" and then fire him! if he payed the wrong fee... who knows what else he got wrong! the fee is listed right on USCIS website for heck sakes!! yikes.

how long was the delay? from the day he mailed out the wrong fees til the day he got back the package from immigration? im thinking around 2 weeks the most? At least your lawyer only sent out the wrong fees, my lawyer screamed into my face when i asked for the money back and much much more.

You must report this lawyer to the state bar along with all the emails he has sent you. This kind of people has to learn the lesson. They think they are doing us a favor but the fact is we "immigrants" make their living when we pay xxxx USD for doing some stupid paper work. He has lied to you which is good reason to get your money back.
