You can hold on to the pictures. I know one of the forms says, "Please attach the following when submitting..." - birth certificate, divorce certificates, passport pictures, evidence of engagement (whatever that means) - but you don't have to submit any of that - just check off what you have in originals on the checklist, and send the forms and the checklist.

Get lots of passport pictures - you need 3 for the medical and 2 for the interview.

April, 2009 - We met

May, 2009 - We wooed

June, 2010 - We got engaged, looking forward to a small August 2010 wedding

**5 months of patient waiting**

December 29, 2011 - call around for information about delay

January 5, 2011 - RFE notice (first online status update yet!)

January 10, 2011 - RFE Hardcopy

January 13, 2011 - RFE Response acknowledged

January 24, 2011 - NOA2 (at last!!)

March 7, 2011 - Packet 3 sent to me

March 10, 2011 - Packet 3 delivered to Montreal

March 21, 2011 - Packet 4 sent to me

Quick question did you guys book as soon as they logged your P3 or did you wait until it said your P4 was sent?

O silly me your sig said you moved up to April 20th, wow yay for you!

I sure did!!

The DoS never told me P3 had been received, only that P4 had been sent. I asked the girl several times, "so they've sent Packet 4? So I'm allowed to book an interview? When did they send Packet 4?" Keep checking in!

Congratulations, everyone.

Rebooking is so tempting but I don't want to be bothered rebooking my medical as well. Plus my fiance hasn't sent me his 2010 tax info yet.

Ok so now I'm trying to book my medical at the Toronto office.

I just called and left a message and I sent a short email telling them my interview date and that I'm ready to book.

Am I missing anything?

Here's what Medisys in Montreal asks me to take to my medical (pretty sure it's standard for all clinics):

- Health book listing your vaccines/shots

- glasses if you wear contacts and take your prescription if you have it

- consulate's letter of confirmation you have an interview booked

- drug prescriptions (including the pill if applicable)

- passport

- 3 identical passport color photos

They told me they need full 3 days to process and you have to pick up your file at their office.

Hm, Medisys in Montreal told me that they could send it to me for an additional charge. There is no way I'm driving back to Montreal to pick up my results.
