it's taken 9 months to the day but we have just got our noa2 from california. I'm not sure if we are the last couple to manage this but Saylin you can update your spreadsheet now for us and hopefully we will get through nvc quickly.

Saylin, Hello there.. how are you? I don't have much time to come here and but I follow .. seems quiet around here. He Saylin, how long after case completed do they send the appointment letter or package and from there how long do you have for the interview. I am trying to schedule my vacations around that time to go to Mexico to the interview with my wife... what do you think?

I'm doing good. Getting anxious for my interview this Tuesday :)

It was 15 days after my case complete that an interview date got assigned to me and the day after that I received the interview package by email. From the interview date being assigned to the actual interview, it was 40 days.

But you have to remember, those timeframes are for Canada. Since you're in Mexico, it's probably going to be different timeframes. You need to look at Mexican's timelines and see what it should be for you. I don't know how busy the consulate is in Cd. Juarez, so it might be a shorter or longer wait from CC to interview.

Hi :)

I was looking at timelines here: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=$cfl&op3=5&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28&op6=All I would choose my country in the drop down menu and just went through everyone's timelines. I made a spreadsheet for myself and saw the average times from CC to interview date assigned, from CC to interview, and from interview date assigned to interview. I had a lot of statistics :) I'm now using that link to see average times from interview to visa received on my spreadsheet. It's an amazing tool, I must say yes.gif

And thank you :) Interview is almost here finally.

Hello everyone, big big congrats to all for the huuuge progress!! We are all near the very end of this journey, and oh what a journey !!

Little update on my side: my IV was stuck at "in process" for more than 3weeks, was calling nvc but of course they kept saying to wait for it to show the bill paid, on one of my daily phones (4/18) was told that my expedite request was approved that morning and to send the AOS and IV docs and a money order for IV (the operator said that even though they usually don't accept checks at the New Hamphsire facility) attn: supervisor sue. I overnighted everything on the 20th, and they forwarded the docs and returned the check :), my husband will pay at the embassy. The embassy received the packege on the 25. They contacted him 2 days later and told him they are mailing him a form that he needs to fill out and they will schedule an interview when they receive that form back. My husband got so excited when they called that he forgot to ask what the form was or if he can go to the embassy to pick it up or if they can email it to him or anything :) He called them today (but they closed on fridays), he will call again on monday. We miss himso much, and he hasn't even seen his new son and our first son has grown so much and he missed out on so many "firsts" ... but things are moving now so all is goid.

GOOD LUCK FOR NEXT WEEK INTERVIEWS (SAYLIN, JENNY, AND I DON'T REMEMBER WHO ELSE )

CONGRATS EXELANCE!

Grats on getting your expedite approved! And I hope your husband finds out next week what form it is. Hopefully you can get an interview date assigned soon after. Good luck!

And thanks. The others with May 3rd interviews: Jenny and sarah et luc. I know of a few others, but not part of the TSC refugee camp.
