No one noticed a Republican Congressman in western New York resigned after offering himself to women seeking men on Craig's List? Heck, I read it on the FOX news website, can you imagine. Oops, he is married.

Good Christian married man. No doubt he supported the Protection of Marriage Act and probably wants to legislate what WE can do in our bedrooms.

I pity the guy really. If his wife had taken care of business he wouldn't have to do this and if he were a Dem he could sell a book or something and not have to resign. He could even get a Noble prize and star in a fiction classic film.

Maybe. But that would not explain his blubbering "apology" to his wife and family for his horrible "mistakes" nor his resignation to "work on his problems with his family."

What was his position on the Protection of Marriage Act? Anyone taking bets on that? Gays and Lesbians are BAD but a little brown sugar on the side is OK for the holy institution of marriage.

My guess is that he is the typical hypocritical conservative/christian who just wants to control our lives as much as the liberals do, just different things.

It's funny, you're off on a tangent - and yeah, I see your point. But did you check his voting record?

Btw, I don't really care about his marriage or his family...that's for them to deal with. But the public put a lot of trust in him, and he let them down.
