But that is a huge slice of the Democratic base. As long as they can use public money to continue to buy votes they will. And at the same time create another dependent class beholden to them out of the illegal aliens. Killing two birds with one stone simultaneously in their own self serving interest. They could care less that it is no real solution. Solving problems that do not benefit themselves is not what the political classes are about.
