my question is if you email do you have to attach the form. please let me know..

Not if you use the template stating everything on there.

To be honest. I would seriously just e-mail it to avoid confusion. It speeds up the processing as well. By mailing it, you have to factor in mailing the actual ds-3032, nvc opening it and then sending out the acceptance of agent letter.

Having it as a backup is a good idea though, just in case in a rare blue moon they ask for a hardcopy with a signature on it.

We live in a digital world now...take full advantage of it!

I had called USCIS to see if they sent out my approval and never get a clear answer all they tell you have to wait 90 days for NVC to recive it. I feel its super unfair that one has to wait four to six month to get approved and be told that you may have to wait another three months. Then NVC states to wait 15 days from the time of approval. I dont know who are worse liers the USCIS and NVC or those in congress and in the senate right now. It's fustration setting in.

To all waiting for thier files to reach NVC;

There is no set pattern for any country it is hit and miss took ours nearly 3 weeks to arrive and be input on the system! Others here in England have had thiers in NVC withing 1.5 weeks.

And if you are able to pay the fees online then I strongly recommend you take full advantage of it or at least your USC spouse, this will shave around 2 months off your waiting.

Also Embassies are now entering the bussiest periods for exchange students, summer workers and non immigrant visa applications, patience is a virtue my friends!

I am very surprised how patient I have been through all of this and now waiting for IV to be generated, my wife on the other hand has less patience with her govermental processes.

Hang in there, things are moving, not as fast as we would like, but it will soon be our turn!

Glad you are approved as well Ruston.

My NVC letter was generated on June 3rd, unfortunately, I was out of the country, so could not act on it until this morning. However, this morning:

1. Paid AOS bill.

2. Wife sent in DS 3032 via email.

Hoping that in the next 2 weeks will have my AOS stuff generated and I can send the required docs back to them and also pay the Immigrant Visa fee. I have gathered up all my AOS docs required (last 3 yrs tax return transcripts, last 6 months paystub). I feel I am rushing against time, since I am heading back to London in exactly a month for 2 weeks trip and don't want any further delays in processing due to me not being at home to receive the mails.

I am wondering if anyone had this issue. Today I recivied my case number and IIN from NVC so at work I try to see if I can log in, in which I was able and then loged out. Now I come home and try it again and then it states that it the case number and IIN number do not match up. I am wondering if they are processing the bill already since I email them that I would be the agent to represent my wife and that is why I can't get access to the bill. Let me know if anyone had this happen before. Thanks.

Hi guys,

I'm like many of you out there. Waiting for my wife to get here.

I'm a U.s citizen and filed for her IR-1 back in January 2011. I was under the impression that things will go faster and she will be here by June/july.

We have only spent few weeks together since the wedding and this long distance marriage brings its own share of stress which i'm sure most of you can relate too.

My question is : NVC automated voice staus finally changed saying my case was approved on July 14th and please wait 8 weeks for further instructions.I've a lawyer/agent who is doing things on my behalf. i want to know how long from now can i expect her to get her interview date. My indian consulate will be in Delhi since my wife lifes there.

If i'm correct, i don't have to worry about any prority date issue since she is my spouse and i'm a u.s citizen filing for her.

Any words of encouragement ? It has been a long 7 months that's for sure. How has it been going for all of you guys out there in the same boat as me

Its hard for sure! As I know you will, hang in there! I sent my I-130 on July 31st. Got NOA1 on Feb 3rd, NOA2 on May 31st. NVC case # & IIn on June 13. Just now I got SIF July 18th. Its been long. I'm sorry to hear you have a lawyer....this was really doable all alone!! Now that I know my case is complete, it is July, we are probably looking at a Septmeber interview date. As much as I would like August, its more realistic for September. It would be greatly appreciated if you would go in and create a time line! It helps see how long things are really taking and you can also compare yours to others! But Good luck to you!
