Comments : The interview process was extremely easy. No detailed questions asked or documents required during the interview. It was a very casual chat about who we are, when did we get married, did we also have an Indian Wedding, was it a big wedding, why are you going to US.

Total time taken was probably 5 mins and she was approved.

Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 1, 2011
Embassy Review : The process was very straightforward. My wife had done her research on the requirements and the process to follow for the London Embassy through visajourney posts and was well aware of what she had to do. She followed the basic steps of ensuring no electronics in the building, getting there on time, etc etc.

Once she was in, don't know how long it took for her to be called, however, going by the timings of the txt message I had from her right before she dropped her phone at the shop across the street, till the time she called me to say it was approved was in total 2.5 hours.

Interview questions were straightforward:
1. Are you born and brought up in the UK
2. When and how did you meet
3. Did you have indian wedding as well? was it a big one?
4. Why are you going to US?

Nothing else asked, visa was approved.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
