When they say that "one vote can change an election," they aren't wrong, no man. Unanimity rules, si man (or at least until someone else also votes).

I am working till 8:30 pm on New Year's eve and I will be working on New Year's day starting 8:00 am. My husband wants us to go out and celebrate but I really don't want to be at work the next day with a hangover.

Partying or not, I guess it will be a last minute decision.

BTW - you can pick >1 answer for question #2.

Ah, si man -- but brevity is the soul of rolling stones after the barn door is stolen, and let sleeping dogs gather no moss, no man.

To elaborate in regard to "partying": Everything is relative, si man. Another VJ couple (also U.S.-dude petitioner, Ecuadorian beneficiariette) will visit us today through the Gnu Year, si man. After last year, when we each observed the honest dismay and experienced the tearful depression of our respective Ecuatorianas in regard to the anemic (by Ecuadorian standards) Gnu-Year's-Eve partying habits of Gringos, we decided to caucus in person this time, and to let the two Ecuatorianas party their shapely selves into pooped-outedness together until all hours, while we Gringos watch the ball drop in Times Square, perhaps stay up until midnight Central time just to be official about it, and go to our respective beds, zzz man, all while the reveling Ecuatorianas continue to yammer merrily and cavort nonstoppedly with their mouths en Espanol until all hours or sunrise, whichever occurs later and is more traditional Ecuadorianly, and this is one of the longer run-on sentences of 2010 if not of all time or at least of several other decades, si man.

Edited to add, si man: I have been sternly informed that it is inappropriate in the extreme, should an Ecuadorian pass out inebriatedly on the floor, to help him or her into bed, or to call for assistance toward that end. The only acceptable action is to throw a blanket over him or her and otherwise ignore him or her until he or she awakens on his or her own, si man.

I voted last night but didn't feel like replying from my phone. I will be partying tomorrow night. I guess I am self-employed since I work as a personal chef but I only do it for a few clients and only on an as needed basis instead of every day like I was doing earlier in the year. I just don't have time to cook for people all the time because school takes up too much time. I haven't tried the fries and probably won't...I don't really eat fast food.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
