Moved to FL from NY when I was 3(almost 4). Moved to 2nd house in FL when I was about 8.

I only know one language fluently.

I didn't actually have Indian food, that I know of, until I was 21! How embarrassing! :blush::lol: It was only because of meeting my husband. I was clueless, and now I think it's really my favorite food. I didn't have Thai til around that time too, and I LOVE that too.

Answered yes to all 3 questions.

Following birth in NY, I had already moved to Denmark, Switzerland, Israel and Canada by the time I was three (Dad was doing a series of post docs). Speak fluent English and Hebrew from childhood. Thai, Mexican, Indian, Korean BBQ, Sushi - these and more are all things I did not eat growing up.

yes, we moved about 5 times before I was 7 years old.. all the moves where in the same town too..

I could only speak English fluently but I could understand and speak a few German words..

I would say I was introduced to Mexican food after my 20th Birthday.. although growing up my mom would make those taco kits you buy in the store but I wouldn't really consider that Mexican food :P..

No. Once, to another house a few blocks away.

Yes. English, Hindi, Bengali.

No. Had Thai and Japanese in Nepal a few times, on vacation as a kid. Then really began to love Mexican cuisine in college. Always been fond of "Continental" and Chinese food as a child.

Yes, no, yes

Moved 3 times before I was 10 but the third move was when I was 3 years old so maybe it isn't as big an influence;

Was fluent in English, spoke and understood a little French and had studied Latin enough to read easy works, but would not say I was fluent in either of them;

Had very limited exposure to any cuisine other than North American/Canadian, Chinese and Italian as a child. Love Thai, Indian and Middle Eastern food and didn't taste any of them until I was in my 40s - no opportunities. I really, really enjoy trying different cuisines now - especially if it is something I haven't tried before.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

We moved a few times before I was 10 but it was always within the same town and I stayed in the same school each time we moved.

Where I'm from speaking a language other than English isn't really something that's common. They have language classes in high school but they're not required. Most people around here were born and raised here. It's only been in the last few years that more and more "outsiders" have moved to the area.

Foods...my food world blew up with flavors and cuisines when I moved away for culinary school. I am constantly trying new things and finding different things I like.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.
