Hi everyone there,I need your help as i m about to apply for I-751

I m sending thefollowing documents to verify the status of our marriage and ongoing relationship:

• 2 passport size pictures.

• Copies of the passport and green card of immigrant spouse.

• Marriage certificate.

• Copy of the tax return for 2009.For year 2010 we have not filed yet.

• Documents showing joint checking and saving bank account.

• Copy of our visa cards showing a joint account.

• photo graphs together.

• Affidavit from property owner stating that we are living in his property.

• Phone bill (Family plan).

• Copies of driver’s license showing same residing address.

• Letters and greeting cards from friends, relatives, family and others mailed to us on same address.

• Three sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen friends & relatives, attesting to our relationship and marriage.

As we are living with parents and everything is on their name like house, utility bills..i m semding their affidavit too.

Do affidavit need to be sworn infront of immigration officer or we can have that notarised from any notary?

Please help me if these are enough or i should add more?

How about cars, medical insurance, retirement plans?

Also, you can add 2007, 2008 tax returns/transcripts!

Thanks abhay,

Car is on my husbands name and he took loan as that time i was not working,i started working now and its just 1 month.

We both don't have any health insurance.

Tax return-i came here in april 2008 so no tax return for 2007,2008.

Why no tax return for 2008? You could still have filed jointly, even if you had no income.

You mean you were not in US when filing 2007 taxes (due April 15th 2008) but you were here before April 15th 2009 when taxes 2008 were due right?

By the way, even if you were gone you could still have been on the return

Any suggestions please.. :)

Utility bills would be good. But since you are not living alone, you would not be able to get it I think. If u have a cell phone, you could submit the bills for that (joint plan). Driver's license with the same address. Car title (if you have any)

Pictures taken during the trips (if any)

Thanks for correcting millimelo.May be i m going through so many websites ,i m confuse.

@ Trillium 13-I was not in U.S at the time of tax return in 2008.

Why are you going through so many websites and confusing yourself? Stick to the USCIS website and documents, then bounce off questions you may have on the forum. Otherwise you will drive yourself nuts for no reason.
