B visa is NOT a family based visa, moving this to AOS from Visitor visa.

What you are talking about is MIS-Use of a visitor visa with intent of immigrations, this is visa fraud. This is what the K-1 is for, if B-2 visas were intended for this use, there would be no need for K-1 visas.

Do the RIGHT thing.

You can marry on your trip. Then you would return home at the end of your visit and your then spouse would apply for the proper visa (CR1). You would then interview at the US Embassy in Jamaica.

Entering on a visitor visa with the intent to immigrate is a violation of the immigration law.

In your other post ( http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/287135-from-visitors-to-student-visa/ ) you want to change to a student visa. So what are you actually hoping to do? Are you just trying to find a way around the law or are you looking for advice on acting within the law?

Hi everyone.

I will be in the us for 5 months and would like to marry someone i met when i was previously in the states. After arrival, whats the best time to wait until i get married so that it doesn't seem as if im marrying to get a status straight in the us?

As written; Sentence #1 makes Sentence #2 to be implied as you are attempting visa FRAUD. :bonk:

Based on your previous posts, it looks like you are trying all sorts of avenues to immigrate to the US. Your mom and sister are in the US, you are looking into joining them before aging out; you also posted recently about using a student visa but have an issue with funding; and now you are asking advice about marrying a USC after entering on a B2 visa.

You need to decide what is the best option for you, while respecting the law and following the correct procedures. This will serve your best interests in the long run and also give due respect to all the people here who are doing the right thing.

Good luck.

As the OP is obviously soliciting information about how to commit immigration fraud and as that is a violation of TOS for Visa Journey I am closing this thread.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
