I Included with my I-130 petition my passport as evidence of US citizenship and birth in the US. Unfortunately I overlooked the instruction that ALL pages of a US passport must be copied. Will this oversight result in a RFE? Is there a way I can send a copy of the other pages before a RFE is issued? Last week I received a confirmation email that my petition was received and forwarded to the California Service Center. A few days later I received NOA1 at home. Since I have received the NOA 1, does that mean I'm okay?

no it means they have received your petition and have cashed your check and your case is now in the computer if they are going to have issue with it they will send you a RFE before they give you noa2

Correct I would make copies of everything and send it with your I-797c

or file number and get it to them ASAP so it dont slow up the proccess,

Send it to the Lock Box in Chicago ASAP by FEDEX tracking to make

sure they signed for it.

Good Luck

I included my bio page and the visa pages (the ones that had visa stamps on them). Is that okay? or is that still risking a RFE??

Many on here, myself included, only included the bio page and never had a problem.

I would not do that, more than likely this would get lost, or possibly delay things.

I would wait for an RFE, but more than likely the BIO page along with the pages showing trips will be fine.

Many people have no problem JUST sending the bio page, but it just depends!

You cant send anything until you get an RFE as it wont get matched up with you original documents!

Fingers crossed it all goes fine!

Thanks everyone for your advice and encouragement. Upon again reading the instructions for the I-130, I realize that I really didn't misread the instructions. The option is give to send in "a copy of your unexpired U.S. passport," without mention to copy all the pages. Reference to copying all the pages of the passport, however, is in the I-129F instructions. Anyway, no one seems to have had a problem that I've heard, so I won't worry about it.
