3 months later my I-485 is still in "acceptance". Is this normal?

Hi folks,

1. I submitted a joint I-130/I-485 marriage-based AOS application in early September. On USCIS's website, my I-130 case status says "initial review" but my I-485 is still on "acceptance". My NOA for the I-485 has a Received Date of September 13, and a Notice Date of September 20. Is it unusual to still have my I-485 still only at the "acceptance" stage now, 3 months later? In case it's significant, I should note also say that I have been granted advanced parole (approved I-131).

2. According to USCISC's site stats and Visajourney's stats, I'm seeing increased processing times, at least for my office in Portland. Is this the reality borne out in peoples' experiences, generally speaking?

Trying not to worry,

Simmy

Don't expect too much from USCIS website, when it comes to checking your cases' status online. A lot of people have been complaining about it lately. Your mailbox will be a more reliable friend!

And just to make you feel better - when I was going through the AOS process - my I-485 was stuck in the "Acceptance" stage for 1 year, the same my I-130 was stuck in the "Initial review" for 1 year, even though I was going through biometrics, interview and so on.

My I-485 has been at acceptance since June 28th. We received a approval letter for our I-130 two weeks ago it's still listed as acceptance on June 28th on the website. It's not accurate obviously I think some offices at USCIS update and some don't. The NYC office has done no updates on the website for our case we received 3 letters for different things from the NYC office and were never updated online. I still look though lol.
