We've been interviewed last 12/7/2010 for AOS in nyc from a K1 visa. After the interview she did not take my I-94.She gived as the later says "your case is being held for file review in order to prepare a decision. You will be advised by mail as to a decision on your application.I heard people that after the interview they take the I-94 from the passport, and they did not take my I-94.They wrote pending in my passport..Does it mean anything if they did not take my I-94?how long does it take to get and answer from them?

You had your interview 3 days ago. Expect more like 2-3 weeks maybe a month or more. The letter says your file is being held for review which may take quite a while depending on whos desk its currently sitting on.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

same thing happened to my friend too, they had their interview last week, and it went well, the IO said that everything seems well.. and a few days after the interview, they received an e-mail saying that "your case is currently undergoing a required review by an immigration officer. We will notify you by mail as soon as the review is completed....." . i did not understand why, but maybe they are doing some final background checks or sth..

Duplicate threads asking basically the same information merged into one. It is not necessary to ask for the same information in more than one thread.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
