Hey Everyone,

I filed for my AOS at the end of Sept/2010. Haven't recieved anything for my bio apppointment. Also haven't got my ead or my AP. Any advice?

Is anyone in the same situation as me?

I did not get mine too, I got my receipt notice at Sep/07/2010 and still waiting for my biometrics appointment, by the way I live in Texas, I tried to call them, they mailed me at Nov 2nd and said; it because of the limited capacity at my local ASC.......

I have heard that Dallas is VERY slow... But I don't know that that's the one you're dealing with...

Am not so much in the same boat as you but I received my Biometrics letter for and appointment on 19th Nov but I could not make it so I sent the lettter and ticked the box for a new appointment and sent it off right away back on 4th November and I still have not heard anything back of new date. I am going through Atlanta office Georgia. It's frustrating hey as I just want to get it done so I will get this part of the process moving.

I am dealing with Vermont service center, so unlucky I live around dallas area?

Where do you hear this news, I though they may forget my case, feel a little bit frustrated.....

For those in Dallas, a few in our July filers group actually went down there and told the supervisor that they hadn't had a biometrics letter assigned to them yet. The person they spoke to got them one right on the spot. This is worth a shot if it's been over 30 days.

Yes I live in Dallas. I will try to drop in at the biometrics office tomorrow.

Without a biometrics letter they will most likely not process you. You should make an infopass appointment.

Nevertheless, the locator is here: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=offices.type&OfficeLocator.office_type=LO enter a zipcode and it will tell you the closest office. This should be the same place for your Infopass as well.

I haven't gotton mine yet. I have an infopass appointment for this week. Hopefully I will know soon:)
