just sent out my ds-230 with all of the original civil documents. Would i get an rfe just because i forgot to send them copies of the originals as well for them to keep. Or maybe someone will be nice enough in nvc to make their own photocopies. :( I feel like kicking myself when I make stupid mistakes. :bonk:

If I could be anything, I would be a tear.

NVC requires photocopies of the originals though I have not seen where an RFE was issue for not making copies...so we just have to wait and see what happens. You can also call NVC to find out if you can send in the photocopies

Citizenship next step!

Thank you - I was able to review the photocopy requirement/s. I guess they are trying to save time for themselves. I didnt submit the photocopy of any of the 7 orginals submitted but WOULD have had i seen that.

Even though you sent off your packet and forgot to do this... dont send them off.. it may cause delay to your case and the NVC will not tell you to send any document/s unless they RFE.

I didn't include the photographs when sent off IV packet. Immediately i called NVC & live operator said, you could send it with COVER SHEET, I also asked is there any chance to delay for this reason, she said it would be save time than waited for RFE receive. I hope she is true.
