What the protesters did was definitely wrong, but according to the information in the video, the church didn't file a complaint, so that's why the authorities didn't pursue charges. That's usually how it works when there is no physical assault or battery on a person or persons.

I'm surprised if you really don't know this but it's sharing the word of god with people. sometimes they do things other than speaking to people. I've seen a lot of people who hand out tracts or leave them places for other people to see or pick up.

Sounds like "proselytizing" or "soliciting" rather than "witnessing". Witnessing usually

implies having first-hand evidence of some event or giving/serving something as evidence,

or testifying to events or facts within one's knowledge. I doubt these people had a

personal first-hand experience with Jesus, so what exactly are they "witnessing"?
