Okay, so being the 'foreign fiance' I am filling out the G-325a for our first package to send in, and I just wanted to double check that I have things right.

Where it says 'file number: A____' I have put 'none', like on the sample form. Is this right?

And the same for the social security number, just 'none'?

And what about my 'Alien Registration Number' at the bottom, 'none' again?

Finally for the proof of having met/ongoing relationship, I include photocopies of things like boarding passes, etc, I don't need the real ones - correct?

Thank you so much, I really need to make sure our application is error free due to time constraints and all.

correct

finally

the USCIS does NOT routinely request originals anymore and unless specifically requested, regular photocopies of the requested document is acceptable.

There's a copy of a cover letter that you can use that specifically states at the bottom that you sent unaltered photocopies and that you are prepared to produce the originals upon request.

Do not send any originals unless specifically asked. Any originals not requested will not be returned. I have although recently read that you can request them to be sent. However don't bet on it, and if it happens don't bet on it happening quickly.

True for supporting documents but not for official forms like the G325a, petition. Some newbies don't yet distinguish between "forms" and "documents" like we old hands do.
