expedite approved at NVC level

my wife was told this morning that the london embassy approved the expedite request from the nvc for ourselves.

she asked if we have our iin yet and was told we wont be given one by the nvc in the usa as it'll be dealt with at the embassy.

so, the case was transferred from the uscis to the nvc and almost immediately transferred to london - without any document processing from the nvc in the us.

any ideas what will happen now - will i be contacted or my wife. should i call the us embassy in london for advice on what to do next? if anyone has advice thatd be awesome.

#does this mean ive beaten loto's record of going through the nvc - unofficially yes. officially NO - as no documentation has been compkete there yet. :whistle: lol

all documen that the nvc had were the request from my wife, drs, myself, explanation of my overstay and also our contact details.

thanks guys. i appreciate your kind comments. Its not been easy...and Im not there yet.

But I have far more hope than I did yesterday. I wish the NVC in the US dealt with all the nvc stuff that I now have to deal with instead of my wife! :bonk:

As Ive no idea whats coming next - do they request all the documents, or do I just take the lot to the interview when its assigned. maybe I'll find out more tomorrow!

Yes, you officially beat the record...technically you're at Consular processing!! lol. I'm gonna try to call today to get our NVC number and stuff..and then try to get the documents to file our expedite next week...because my wife just doesn't have the patience to deal with all that stuff right now.

I was dreading veterans Day - I even got annoyed that it was a holiday! As the govt offices are shut for that. Though they arent in the UK. Though I do believe it should be a holiday (I didnt a few hours ago)!

CRN your lawyer should be paying you now as I think you may be able to move quicker, if there is any justice, especially as tomorrow in your case your reasons get even stronger right? If you get your info emailed in asap, you have a good chance.
