OK folks, many of you have read my blog, I know, I see the stats of what sites are directing traffic to it. I am surprised that MANY more of you have NOT commented with your OWN story. Why? The blog is getting a lot of traffic, it is getting visibility. Don't let it just sit their looking like ONE person complaining, be heard for crying out loud.

I hear a lot of complaining, yes, some of you have contacted media, elected officials and emailed USCIS but not taking advantage of the medium that I did for all of us in this situation.

Here is a list of some of the domains that have been identified linking to the blog:

www.visajourney.com

www.facebook.com

www.ocregister.com

www.stumbleupon.com

www.exoticdancernet.com (LOL, I have some interesting friends)

www.dancingmokey.com

m.facebook.com

twitter.com

iconfactory.com

translate.googleusercontent.com

As you can see, the social media sites are generating a lot of traffic. The message is getting heard, so start making comments of YOUR story.

The link to the blog is in my signature.

The tool is there, please use it.

I have nothing to gain from this, supposedly, I am approved but I'll believe it when I see it.

Delayed Immediate Relative Petitions, (Form I-130) at Texas Service Center

In November 2010, USCIS transferred approximately 36,000 Immediate Relative petitions from our California Service Center to our Texas Service Center. We anticipated that this redistribution of work would result in more timely adjudication of these petitions. Due to a number of unforeseen circumstances at our Texas Service Center, many of these cases have not been processed and are beyond our estimated processing times. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused you and we are making every effort to remedy this situation as soon as possible.

On Feb. 7, 2011, we implemented a rapid response plan to expedite the adjudication of these petitions. We have transferred a large number of these Immediate Relative petitions back to our California Service Center :bonk: to take advantage of resources currently available to immediately process these cases. Petitioners will see an action such as an approval, denial or a Request for Evidence (RFE) on their case from our California or Texas Service Centers by the end of February. Additionally, we have briefed the Department of State’s National Visa Center about these cases.

We encourage you to monitor the progress of your case by accessing My Case Status online. If you do not see any action on your case, such as an approval, denial or an RFE, by March 1, 2011 you may contact USCIS at: I-130Inquiries.Tsc@dhs.gov

We remain committed to the prompt resolution of all pending cases and will provide updates on our progress in the coming weeks.

That is all i was asking for: a public announcement that "we messed up". But transferring back to CSC hmmmmmm :bonk: dont know about that :help:

what u guys think....

unbelievable!!!!! I am speechless :wow:

It is plausible to believe that our little group had something to do with news this today.

I think so. Spearheaded by Wade.

It seems funny to me, that USCIS allowed this to drift for SO long before taking action. It makes me wonder, if we HAD NOT have pushed and pushed through all outlets, then would we still be in the same position?

I'm sure our multiple voice was heard. good.gif

I, for one, would love to be sent back to California Service Center...also, to be expedited due to USCIS error at the NVC level would be amazing, but I doubt that is going to happen. Just send me back

I also agree that our collective voices were heard, and without us...this probably never would have been acknowledged. Good job my fellow TSC hostages, we are breaking free!

Based on the statistics that we have on VJ speadsheet about how many applications TSC has approved, I think transferring the cases back to CSC is a good thing.

TSC approved approximately 5500 cases in January, 900 in December and 400 in November. If 5500 cases is the maximum they can process in a month, with the 25000 to 27000 cases that are left it would take them another 5 months to finish. Even if they could up it to 8000 or 9000 it would still be three months out.

With CSC approving nearly 20,000 a month my best guess is that all of the transfer cases should be handled by mid March at the latest.

My best guess is that they are telling CSC to drop all other cases until the TSC transfers are complete.

The comment about the NVC gives me hope that they will be coordinating the effort with the NVC so that our cases will take priority over cases with later priority dates.

I understand how everyone has doubts about what is going on in this process, but to me the formal statement that they will be taking action is a positive one. What i see is someone taking charge, evaluating the available resources of the USCIS and attempting to take advantage of all available resources in order to fix what has been done.

The only unfortunate thing I see is that they didn't recognize the problem sooner and take action earlier.

In either case I am going to attempt to be patient and let them work things out.

And I am sorry to say it, but it sounds like the expedite that the September and October filers were getting is going to be put on hold.
