Does anyone know if contacting a congressman/senator about AP can slow down the process in any way?

Why don't you request an Infopass appointment to see if you can speed up your AP.

No movement for me either...won't be getting any mail probably until Wednesday because of the snow and ice on the road. Everywhere seems to be closed. Oh well.

Kinda funny how glued we get to these case updates. Before the technology was able to check the case online, we would just be sitting pretty waiting for something in the mail. Instead we get paranoid

We were sent separate letters for biometrics. First letter received was for AOS biometrics, and the second 1 or 2 weeks later was for the EAD. Yes having to do your biometrics again would be a delay

Sent my RFE yesterday. Just so anyone who gets RFE knows, my RFE was sent to a PO Box in Missouri and Fedex/UPS won't deliver to a PO Box; only USPS does and it takes two days even for Express Post.

Received NoA of Initial Interview in the mail over the weekend. Looks like everyone should be getting something this month.

Now I got to prepare for the initial interview. I got to figure out what I have to bring according to the NoA of Initial Interview's requirements. Any advices?

Yes exactly. I'm hoping it won't hold up my AP for too long. Chinese New Year is approaching and my family is expecting me. I might need my husband to Fedex the AP to Vancouver but on the other hand I think it's risky. :wacko:

When's your interview? If you get approved and you get your GC in a week or so after the interview, you don't need the AP anymore.

oh, nevermind...I just saw in your signature timeline that the interview is after the Chinese New Year.. :blush: . Hope you get good news regarding your AP soon!

Thanks! I do not even get my biometric letter. I will have to call USCIS if it did not show up end of this week. RFE is ready to be sent :dance: out by Fedex tomorrow.

Hi Les, i got my bio done today :), maybe i am as lucky as you and see some movement on my case in a few days... mcant wait to start looking for a job!!!

Congrats! I can't wait to go back to work too. I have such cabin fever right now! I signed up for a couple of classes & they start in a couple of weeks. At least that will get me out of the house :)

Congrats! I can't wait to go back to work too. I have such cabin fever right now! I signed up for a couple of classes & they start in a couple of weeks. At least that will get me out of the house :)

OMG i bet, thats driving me crazy!!! i have no idea what to do, the big part of my day is to wait for my hubby after he comes from work with a good dinner... that's it.

The bio took long time to be taken, i see a lot of ppl saying how fast it was, for me it took almost 30mins, i though it was going to be come in go out... my bio was here in NJ, Elizabeth, but people there was soo nice, even for my picture asked me if i like it, if not the agent was going to made another one, that was very nice (i didnt asked to changed it, even when i didnt like it, but there is not much i can do, i am not photogenic, lol)
