here we go we sent in the missing medical to CSC on tuesday and tracking it on USPS it says it got delivered today. so lets see a hope nothing else is missing and we can proceed.

The good thing about the RFE was that we only had to get the medical examination transcribed into the I-163 and not so good thing about it was to find a civil surgeon that does so. we ended up paying $150 for this and well its the same charge as for a whole new medical. but its done now and well i hope i get some good news soon cause right now im feeling im doing no progress at all since everybody on seemed to either get their green card or at least their EAD or AP or both and well i have gotten nothing at all.

YAY, that's great news CQ & CS! They didn't ask me about a different name either!

Anyhow, tomorrow is our interview day. Our appointment is scheduled for 2.35pm. Hopefully, the IO will be in a hurry to go home and he/she wont take too long.

The things I put in my package are:

- copies of mine and hubby's birth certificate

- copy of marriage license and certificate

- 8 photos

- joint bank account statements for the past 5 months

- copies of greeting cards from friends for the wedding/christmas

- interview appointment letter

- my passport, hubby's ID

- hubby's life insurance policy where it shows I am a 100% beneficiary

- both AP copies

- EAD card

Am I missing anything?

Ok, here's an update from today's interview.

We arrived at 2pm, 35 min early, and didn't get called in until 2.40.

The interviewer (young lady) called our name, we followed her to the office and sat down. We had to swear everything we say is the truth.

Questions were:

-Do you have any more proof of ongoing relationship for the time before K1?

* Didn't have any. After all, this wasn't a K1 visa interview.

-W2's, tax return!

* Didn't have them.

She went through pictures, greeting cards, insurance, joint bank account...and said it's not enough.

-She asked my husband if he met my parent, why not, and if he didn't want to meet them?!

-Asked if he ever visited me?

* No, but I visited him 4 times.

-Asked if I traveled home during AOS process and for how long.

-Asked if anyone was present at the wedding, why not, and if do I not care that we got married at a courthouse?

* No, we are having a bigger celebration when we renew our vows and my parents can be present.

-Asked my husband where he works.

-Asked where we live.

* We would have to submit a letter from his parents that we really live at their house, but didn't have that.

She asked me standard questions if I was ever arrested, helped terrorists, have army training...

She didn't ask anything about our relationship now...weird.

At the end of the interview she didn't say approved or denied, but I got a text message that my card is in production. YAY!
