Happy Sunday MENA!

Olivia I love the Caturday kitties!! I never to get to see that stuff at work since they block certain programs!

I'm just kind of hanging around the house today cleaning, making bread, doing things I don't have time to do during the week!!! In other words, ENJOYING the weekend!!!

I sure do love the time change!! I feel like I had an extra hour of sleep and more time to do things!! Wait, I did!!!:rofl:

Happy Sunday! Tinker and I took a ride to the park today and i realized i lost my keys. In a mad rush around the areas we walked i called my dad. As he was coming around the bend, i went to sit down, and there they were! Allahumdulilah! Its a wonderful day to be outside! Gonna go cut down my rose bushes!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Alhamdulillah!!! Glad you found them Terrie!!! That is one of the worse feelings in the world loosing your keys!!!!! Specially in a park!!!:blink:

Ok it's Monday madness! So far hubby has called me 5 times to tell me that his car is going to kill him...I keep telling him it's not the car, it's the driver who thinks he is driving in Cairo!!!:wacko: Why is it you let them go on the interstate automatically they think their last name is Andretti??????

I hope everyone is having a good start of their week. If this is any inkling of what is to come for me this week, all I can say is CALGON take me away!!!!!!:innocent:

Olivia sorry about the distance between you and your hubby :crying: .. anyway I will be away for awhile... long story..trust me.. I will probably deactivate my fb account as well.. Olivia I may have found someone that can help me... at least I pray for that... 5 years is a long time to be in physical pain and that too.. habibi can't and doesn't understand... I'm doing alright though the time change has confused me. I don't know why it's so confusing for me this time. I've been so confused about the time I have to keep looking at my cell phone to know the time and day. I stayed at my SIL last night and took care of her and watched the baby during the night. My SIL came down with the flu and was really sick and my brother was out of town. I also had to work and that was very tiresome. I don't know how parents do it with a baby crying during the night and then having to work during the day, especially single parents.

Speaking of SIL's my other one in Baltimore is having surgery tomorrow on her brain tumor. I don't know if they have to cut into her skull or not but it's behind her ear and it's benign and that's the extent of my knowledge. Dh will stay home with the two little girls. Other than that the time seems to be flying and he's really enjoying his rotation at the hospital. Work is really busy for me except last Sunday was a slow news day.

Hi Wonderful, I hope everything is ok.

I haven't posted on here in awhile, our visa has kinda been at a stand still until the beginning of December when Mohamed returns to Egypt. He's going to make Hajj this weekend and next week, and I've applied for a visa to visit him in Saudi Arabia, but who knows if I will get it, their laws are strange when it comes to women being alone. If I get the visa I may just travel back with him to Egypt and stay until either the interview or he gets his visa.

Olivia, sorry to hear about the distance between you and your husband....Liz, we have talked a lot today and all I can say is I'm sorry and hugsss (F)

Andrea, that is so funny about your husband driving :lol:

Happy Wednesday! :dance: 3 more days of work then 'Lexy-time' ! Can't wait to hang out with my awesome granddaughter. We have plans on Saturday. Her teacher said she is reading and understanding 79 words a minute and the others are at 45 words a minute. I am so proud of her!

Me, well apparently I have to go in for an EGD and colonoscopy tomorrow because of being a chronic anemic so my day consists of plenty of fluids and later that "special" drink that makes you want to sit in the bathroom for the rest of the day!!!:huh:

Morning Jeanne! I also found out that there's free meals at Chili's & Golden Coral. Hope you have a great day!

We are waiting to hear from the USDA loan for the house, everything else is complete down to the pending receipt of this loan. Closing is supposed to be Friday. Hopefully I hear the news today for the time on Friday. Its exciting and nerve racking at the same time dealing with buying a home.

Hey everyone, happy HUMP DAY!!!

Well they didn't approve my visa for Saudi Arabia, I'm feeling a little disappointed and also relieved. I was hoping to see him, but I was also a bit scared to go there especially since we're not married yet. I've heard some stories of women being there alone and some are not good. I guess I will just have to be patient and wait a few more weeks.

Andrea-sorry to hear about your procedure and date with the bathroom.
