RFE Response attempted delivery to USDHS by USPS

Hello VJ Experts

I have sent our RFE Response package through USPS express mail delivery yesterday to the address indicated in our RFE letter which is a PO Box address. Today, I got the below message from USPS tracking:

Guaranteed Delivery Date/Time: October 18, 2010, 3:00 PM

Class: Express Mail®

Status: Notice Left

We attempted to deliver your item at 9:13 am on October 16, 2010 in LEES SUMMIT, MO 64002 and a notice was left. You may pick up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice, go to www.usps.com/redelivery, or call 800-ASK-USPS to arrange for redelivery. If this item is unclaimed after five days then it will be returned to the sender.

So now what do I need to do? I just saw my receipt right now it says signature requested but I didn't request for it since I know its a PO Box they might not have someone to sign it but then I guess the guy from USPS put that one by mistake, I'm guessing its the reason why the package was not delivered and instead a note was left. Will they (USDHS) collect the package in the post office? or do I have to call USPS and ask them for redelivery? Has anyone experience this?

Any advise will be appreciated.

it's ok... the office frequently pick up these documents.. I have had this happened a while back the packages were retrieved.

This happens all the time and there are many posts about it.

Funnily enough no-one lives in the Post box, so only a notice that there is mail left for them can be left, and even if no notice, te mail itself is left, no-one actually collects it immediately.

Someone will collect it at some stage. Nothing to worry about. Nothing for you to do about it either.
