to get married first in Egypt in the courthouse then start applying for the visa or he must filled the petition in America first then come to egypt to get married??

Cr-1 is a spousal visa, you must be married first because you must submit the marriage certificate with the petition

but can you tell me how long he needs to stay in egypt to get married because my fiance has only ten days to stay in egypt

then he must go back to america for his job is this enough time to get married here ?

can i complete the rest of the steps or he must be here in egypt with me??

I am not sure if 10 days is enough to get married in Egypt, that is something you need to check with the local agency in charge of that process in your country. However, he will fill here in the states, so you could get married today and he can come back tomorrow and start the process. Just make sure that he has the marriage certificate along with all other documents before he leaves to avoid delays.

This one will be best answered by Egyptian U.S petitioner married to Egyptian spouse.

In India, I didn't have any restrictions and I didn't get any NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the local U.S Consulate.

Am Egyptian. you can get married in 2 to 3 days....DON'T hire any attorney , when he gets here..just go to the embassy and get permission to marry ...then take it and go to the Foreign minister ( wzaret el 5aregya) then stamp it ..it will cost you 11 L.E for each paper anyways ..then go to El Tahreer building (mogama3 el tahreer) then get visa stamp..it wont take 10 minuts..then take it and go to Justice ministry (wzaret el 3adl) at 4th floor , then tell them that you wanna get married...they will ask you to buy some imprints from any Egyptian mailing office (el bareed el masry) then get them and go back to them with all the copies of your husband's passport and your id and the entery visa stamp and the residency visa stamp then Congratulations...DONT FORGET 2 WITNESSES ...then your husband can travel as he want..you can receive the marriges certs without him...after that notireize it from the US embassy and mail it to him...happy marriage inshallah

Salaam alaykum. There is no VISA requirement for how long the marriage should it. Your American husband-to-be could only stay for a day and get married. Lots of people only stay for a week when they get married in foreign countries. So 10 days will be fine.
