Hello

My husband and I sent off our AOS package yesterday and USCIS received it today. My husband found out today that he is being sent to Florida with the US Air Force for a 6 week training course. What i want to know is will this affect our AOS application? Is he needed for anything that may come about within the next 10 weeks?

22/10/2010 - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter

Hello

highly doubtful... you will need to go for a biometrics appointment but only you are required to go to it... I doubt an interview would be scheduled in the next 10 weeks

You should be okay. And even if something did come up they make exceptions for the armed forces.

You should be okay. And even if something did come up they make exceptions for the armed forces.

Just to clarify, they only make exceptions if they're deployed... from everything i've read that is.

We do not need any 'exceptions' he is only away for 6 weeks. The only reason i asked was so we could contact them if needed. Thanks for all your help though
