Sorry if I sound a bit bitter, but considering this is the second petition I've had to file for my husband (then my fiance), you can surely understand my cynicism. For us, it's not been "almost a year", it's going on 3 years of dealing with the USCIS and the NVC and the Embassy and 2 congressmen and a senator. Yes, thankfully, we will be done with this soon, but this process has personally sucked a lot out of me and my husband.

Debby I can only imagine what you have gone thru, 3 years is too much. I for some reason am beginning to feel the strain, i dont know why, kinda in the tail end of this process, but the the very day stress of waiting on NVC to move the paper work and concerned about getting a RFE for what ever reason and cause a delay is just really getting to me.

10/26/10: NVC Case# received by calling AVR.

10/27/10: DS-3032 Emailed, no response.

10/28/10: Called NVC gave both Petitioners & Beneficiaries email and contact info

10/28/10: IIN Received, emailed DS-3032 using supervisor Sue, received response that agent can not be added at this time.

11/01/10: Emailed DS-3032 and have no response so far.

11/04/10: AOS Fee Invoiced and Paid. IV Fee Not Invoiced yet.

11/04/10: Re-emailed DS-3032.

11/04/10: Medical test given, if any issues will hear back or if its all good will be turned over to Emabassy.

11/05/10: Recieved AOS fee Paid confirmation and barode sheet.

11/06/10: AOS mailed USPS Express.

11/08/10: AOS package received by NVC; Signed by :N Visa Center,Received email that DS-3032 has been received and accepted & IV Fee Invoiced & Paid. Waiting for processing.

11/12/10: IV package mailed USPS express.

11/15/2010: IV package recieved by NVC.

11/19/10: AOS entered into System.

11/29/10: IV Entered into System

Thank you for your kind words...it's been very difficult but I'm also optimistic for the future. I asked her to complete medical today which is important and to collect child's Indian OCI some time Wednesday. She told me, after her medical, she will try to collect child's OCI today itself! Wow, she's going to beat my timeline on that :) BTW, she is relieved from the sprained ankle!

Just called NVC n found out tht missing information is basically an error in my I-864A part 2 where they need my signature not my co-sponsor's.

Atleast you know what was your RFE. Just send another fresh one with your signature, you will be right. may be this friday u will get SIF after NVC has received your respond.

B.B. do u think thy will SIF this week? I am going to post office at lunch time to express mail thy will have it by tmm. I just hope my husband has Jan interview so we can spend our 1st anniversary together Feb 9th but nothg is possible until god wills.
