Took me a 1 1/2 months but then you know that. Its different for everyone. Depending on if your package is complete and without RFEs

rhein- If you are using both of the incomes then you can put whoever you wish you list 1st on the I-864. I mean, if you are filing out the I-864A for you mom then your dad's individual income from his W2's or whatever he has proving his income for 2009. The same would go for your mom. On the I-864A, you would list all of the W2's totals or whatever she is using for income. :thumbs: I hope that made sense.

Because of the way things unfolded for me, I am thinking of sending in both packages together: I am ready to send the AOS tomorrow morning, but my payment for the IV is pending - I paid it like 4 minutes after midnight Eastern time, technically Friday morning, so I imagine it will go through tomorrow or Tuesday. Is it ok to send them in together Express Mail? And if so, to what address/whose attention?

My norther-in-law is ill. She has high blood pressure and some heart problem. I was talking to my wife last night and I'm really not good at consoling people. I didn't know what to say or do. Wish it's nothing serious and she gets well soon. She's really a lovely lady. I never got the evil-MiL vibe from her.

I saw that you paid AOS fee a few days. I am trying to pay this fee from yesterday using ONline system. I get in the system. I check the "select" button. I click the "pay fee button" but I keep getting the same screen again and again. It never moves to the next step. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I hope your mother in law feels better.

I saw that you paid AOS fee a few days. I am trying to pay this fee from yesterday using ONline system. I get in the system. I check the "select" button. I click the "pay fee button" but I keep getting the same screen again and again. It never moves to the next step. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem while paying my AOS fee. When I logged in to the online payment portal for the first time, I saw my AOS fee bill available to pay, when I checked the box and hit the button "pay selected fee" it would not take me to another page. But after couples of hours (2-3 hours) I successfully paid it. I guess when they recently add any fee to the system it takes little time. Keep on trying you will get throughyes.gif

My NVC Journey

10/12/10 –NVC received the file

10/15/10 -NVC case # generated

10/18/10 -Called NVC and gave both beneficiary and petitioner email addresses

10/19/10 - Beneficiary emailed DS-3032 to NVC and also mailed the hard copy

10/26/10 - Called NVC and got the IIN

10/26/10 - Paid AOS fee $ 88.00

10/27/10 - AOS fee status shows "PAID"

10/27/10 - AOS package expressed mailed (next day delivery)

10/30/10 - IV fee bill generated and paid immediately

10/30/10 - Received AOS fee bill and DS-3032 kit and also received the confirmation of receipt of DS-3032

11/04/10 - IV fee bill status shown as "paid"

11/04/10 - Sent IV package (next day delivery)

11/06/10 - Received IV instructions packet (packet 3) via email

11/08/10 - AOS entered into NVC system

11/16/10 - AOS was reviewed and OK'ed

11/18/10 - IV entered into NVC system

11/24/10 - IV package was reviewed and generated artificial RFE for missing photographs (which was actually submitted with the package)

11/26/10 - RFE response mailed out

11/29/10 - RFE response delivered to NVC

12/08/10 - RFE response entered into NVC system

12/15/10 - SIF :)

12/15/10 - Case Complete :)

01/03/11 - Interview date assigned for Feb 15 @ 1:30 PM

01/17/11 - Medical done ! Passed

01/25/11 - Re-scheduled the interview for Feb 1 @ 1:00 PM

02/01/11 - Interview @ 1:00 PM - Approved :)

02/03/11 - Visa picked up from USEM

02/12/11 - POE @ JFK
