I know where NVC is and I can just drive 15mins from home. Can I just go there to directly submit my documents? That will save time I think. I hope they will allow this. I will be probably calling them but to those who has idea about this. Shoot me up, please!

Thank you and God bless our petitions! :)

How did you know? Did you try? I will just call though. Sending the documents in person really saves time.

Thank you though!

No one can go there to drop off documents if it was so, everyone would do it...and how do I know this? I read it on their website...I read a lot about how they process the Visa, I suggest you read so that you can familiarize yourself with this process..Knowledge is power.. Good luck!!!

If time was of the essence, you'd have sent the documents overnight instead of wasting time attempting to hand-deliver them. By the way, they'll just tell you to mail the documents in.

Thanks! There's nothing wrong with calling and asking them anyway.

Yes, but I can just go down there for about 10-15mins. Again, there's nothing wrong appealing my concern about it ;)

I just saw the OP doesn't even have NOA2 yet and they chose to send in I-129f to further delay their process (once you send in I-129f, your I-130 is pulled out of the pile and joined with I-129f then put back in the most recent received apps pile).

OP, you have some time (maybe another 4-5 months) before you're at NVC stage - plenty of time to study the guides and get a feel what you can and can't do - one of the can not dos will be taking your papers personally to NVC.

The concern was about calling and asking them ;)

Peace out! Put a smile in your face and be happy for we'll all have our appointed time to be with our spouses, the bottomline. :)

Goodbye!

Driving for 15 minutes is hardly wasting time, especially if you are going to do something and let the world know about it. And it's all for his spouse. Wouldn't you climb the Everest for your spouse and certainly drive 15 minutes to NVC?
