Hi All,

Thank you to visiting at my post, first of all I am so happy to get interview on 20 September, but I really concern about the questions which examiner will ask me. Last September 2008 I and My husband were the dating membership, we knew each other on the website then we keep contact each other for awhile by email and msn, One day the end of April 2009 I was really upset my husband then I just deleted all this emails he sent it to me. Then email I have it would start from May 2009 till at the moment. ( I just worried if the consulate will ask the old email from my husband emails and he doesn't keep them too ) Regular my husband always deleted the email from his email address at work, if he will not clear his mailbox will full and His email will not work if he doesn't clear it ) We date online from September 2008 till June 2009 he asked me to marry him and I said yes then November 2009 he came to Thailand and married me, Let me say after we met then we still married after he arrived Thailand 2 days. We spent time together 10 days since he back to USA and we flied our CR 1 visa. I know we met one time then we decided to marry after 2 days left but i relieze that he 's the only guy I love all of my life. We both dated online a year and share every feeling and dinner together everyday on skype or msn, well let me say I don't know what the consulate in Thailand think but all the evidence I prepare I am unsure that will be enough for proof my relationship to him

1. email from may 2009 till the moment, email of his mother and his sister / facebook printscreen. (400 pages)

2. evidence of money transfer by paypal after May 2009 till the Aug 2010 ( 25 pages )

3.His air ticket, and the receipt of the hotel we stayed, his post reciept, the flower online he sent to me 2 times, and I sent him one time, recepit of post I mailed card, and product for him and his sister.

4.His skype phone bill and my skype phone bill, my cell phone bill ( 200 pages )

5.the skype snapshot almost 40 snapshots

6.msn chat messenger from April 2010 till Aug 2010 ( alot )

7.our pictures 2 albums.

8.appointment with consulate, my passport new one ( change the last name ), and the old passport

9.medication exam

10. Copies of his tax return for 3 years ago, his employe of letter, his bank account, his stamp of passport in and out from thailand,

11.E card he sent me almost every month

What do guy think about my evidence ? Are they enough for interview ? and what should I bring more ? please let share well in fact I so scare all about the answer when examiner will ask me that Why have i married after we met only a time. please let me know what are you think about my case ? Thank for all share your experience,

Regards

well some countries has more to worry then others...Again Thailand is one of them too...I didn't catch if she(author of the topic) saw her husband to be or not ever? If not,it may be tougher. They were kinda suspicious when my hubby told them I was there 3 times before marriage and each time it has been about 8 months we didn't see each other only talk thru messengers...they said it was not enough(not thinking that not everyone is rich and not everyone can afford to travel every 2 mos...)but what made up for all that suspicion is that after we got married I was there 6 mos. They looked pictures only,no need for other evidence. So,the less you see your spouse, the shorter time you got married, the bigger suspicion...and the more evidence needed.

Well the number of pages like 200 and 400 pages which you mentioned: do you really think that they are going to look into so many pages? Your interview is only 15-20 minutes if I am correct.

To me it feel if we show them 200 and 400 pages: it probably feels like we are showing a relations of life time?

For you it may not, But for me Yes, the relationship is along well. And I believe that prepare the much document than prepare less, cause you never know what the consulate want. As my friend apply for K 1 visa she saw her boyfriend more than 4 times but her visa doesn't pass cause she prepare less document. That what I know. You know the consulate here is really strict,

hi

i wouldnt worry too much, but like some say...some countries are different.

i took a box of evidence to my K1 interview, its 9 inches thick, standard A4 paper size, full to the top - containing telephone bills, conversations, everything we could think of...they never even looked at it and this box has done more air miles than my dog...

it was a complete waste of money and paper...and there are three identical boxes!!

but saying that...had i not had this evidence with me then no doubt i would have been asked...so best be safe!

As many have said, it's far better to bring material and not need it than to not bring material and be asked for it. Furthermore, bringing the material may very well add to the interviewee's confidence and convey a better impression.

Thailand is a tough embassy. People who need not fight their way through there should perhaps be less dismissive of the idea of thorough preparation, which includes bringing documentation.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

i don't think you will need 1,000 plus pages for your interview...it's a bit of overkill.

you just need a few pages of each type of sample with dates that vary to show the length etc.

don't worry so much!

 Excellent point.

While many of us have not been asked to show any evidence it is totally consulate and perhaps even interviewing-officer dependent. I would not advise anyone to bring less evidence simply based on my experience at the Montreal consulate. I read numerous reviews prior to our interview indicating evidence was not asked for but I still brought two folders worth!

My wife is having her interview I believe the same day as you next week on the 13th. I also am worried about the paperwork as most of our original paperwork was sent to NVC (tax returns, etc...) She is not bringing any of this, only pictures, apartment lease, skype records, emails, ring receipts, plane tickets, copy of my passport (I come to Thailand every month). According to the packet 4 she is only required to bring her medical forms and evidence. I am hoping this is enough the same as you. If you would like, if you will email me, I will put you in contact with my wife so you guys can coverse.

I know not all embassies work the same way and I'm not telling you not to bring any evidence.. but if you lost most of your emails theres notway to get them back.. adn I'm not gonna tell you your visa will be deny either.. I think you have good evidence like phonelogs, chats, plane tickets... so that will make up for the email evidence your laking... so cheer up.. but yeah try to take as much as you can with you... I was told the embassy in Venezuela was easy and didnt ask for much evidence.. still I took soo much!.. believe me the folder where I put everything was about to explode with so much paperwork.. and the CO didnt ask for anything of that :S just forms and tax returns .. I was like WHAT I worked so hard !!!! but its better that you take all you can... its better to have everything and not be asked for any of those papers than not to bring much and be asked for more... and well if they ask why you dont have enough emails you can tell them you lost them all... you dont have to get into details just tell them you lost them... and bring the ones from 2009 and current emails you guys have sent to each other

well some countries has more to worry then others...Again Thailand is one of them too...I didn't catch if she(author of the topic) saw her husband to be or not ever?
