Hello all,

It's been a while since i posted on this thread. Here is a litle breakdown of my wife's case:

Filed on 03 Sep

Received NOA on 10 Sep

Case sent to CSC 14 Oct 10 (No Bio appt.)

On 15 Nov, after a long time waiting for the Biometrics appoint, i submitted a service request by calling the USCIS 1800 number. I was told that i should hear some feedback with 30 days. Yesterday (06 Dec 10) i received an email saying that my service request was received and was sent to CSC for futher review. Today (07 Dec 10) i received an email from CSC saying that my service request was recieved and "MY WIFE'S BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT LETTER WAS SENT TODAY AND THAT SHE SHOULD RECEIVE IT IN ABOUT 10 DAYS" YESSSSSSSSS :dance::dance::dance: ..Finally, after 95 days after filing......

We live about 15 minutes from the Dallas Service Center, so once the letter arrives, she will try to do a "walk in biometrics". I hope the guard will let her in. I wish i could be there, but i work in Iraq and I won't be able to accompany her.....

We got the green card! It came in the mail yesterday. :P So the hubby is an official permanent resident. :)

12-03-08 - Began dating again...after a certain someone finally realized I was right in what I had been telling him for 2 years. (Had to add that :P )

Man...just when you think we'd get forwarded to CSC :P

Received letters from the Feds dated December 3, 2010: AOS interview on January 12, 2011 at Jacksonville, FL ASC! (7 days after our 2nd wedding anniversary) Mine is at 9:00 a.m. and our daughter's is at 9:30 a.m. Pippo is only 11 years old...why would they want to interview her separately? Weird.

Any idea if we will receive 10-year GCs after this?

Any tips for us at the interview?

10/13/2010 - RFE on my I-485( waiting the letter on the mail )

10/18/2010 - Biometrics Appointment (touch AOS, EAD at the same day )

10/22/2010 - Sent RFE

10/26/2010 - Touch ( received RFE Under review )

I haven't heard about an interview yet either, but May got her EAD card today.. So now she can focus on job hunting.. The green card is great, but EAD is just as good for us right now! :thumbs:

I submitted the AOS on Sept 21, 2010.

I received the AOS I-485 interview date of Dec 17, 2010. Then on Dec 10th, I received a interview cancellation letter basically as follows:

Notice of Deschedule

Your I-485 application appointment scheduled for December 17, 2010

Please do not appear on the above scheduled date.

You will be notified in writing of a new interview date at such time when a new date becomes available.

San Jose citizenship and immigration services.

Anybody else receive this type of letter? Just wondering if it is a good sign that we don't have to do the interview.

Did you apply before receipt of Pippo's EAD? It looks like you did from your timeline. If you Did what did you take in order for her to get it as I was told to come back when my daughter has her EAD? Thanks :)

We had her EAD in hand before applying for her SSN (she is 11 so a personal appearance is not required). Brought a copy of her birth certificate and passport, and a completed and signed SS-5, I signed for her. Also brought a copy of my annulment papers and an annotated marriage certificate to show our relationship (since we have different last names now)., but SSA didn't even look at it, they just asked for my state ID and passport.

Did you apply before receipt of Pippo's EAD? It looks like you did from your timeline. If you Did what did you take in order for her to get it as I was told to come back when my daughter has her EAD? Thanks :)

Finally got a the movement on the kids AOS. Took them two weeks after i sent in RFE. But they sent the I-485 to California. The I131 was approved and the EAD card was ordered. no Interview so far. I guess... like his mom the GC will come in the envelope one day.

AOS Interview today....wife was APPROVED!!! Should receive green card in 2 weeks or so! :dance: :dance: :dance:

Congrats on approval.

another email today of EAD approval and said the letter was sent.

Now i can get the kid his SS number with work authorization.

I wonder is they gona do an interview with him...

Got the EAD production notice on the 23rd and the EAD approval notice on december 27th (Isn't that the other way around as it should be?)

The AOS has been transferred to CSC on the 27th. Hopefully all the cards will arrive early January!
