Weird I got an email on the 8th saying card production ordered for my AOS. The same email again on the 9th saying card was ordered on the 8th and then today the 11th I logged into the website and it has gone back to post decision activity and says AOS approved.

This is normal right?

I had the same thing with mine the post decision activity I think is when they send a separate "Welcome to America" letter :-)

Hi guys.

We have a new baby, born October 26th. Our AOS is pending, and we just had our biometrics today (file was touched today too!). Should I go ahead and send the USCIS an updated I-485 and I-864...even without an RFE?

Okay, so our update is that Ham received his EAD card on Friday. Which was funny cause he IMed me at work and was upset cause it wasn't green. I told him that's cause it's his EAD and not his green card. Though I wonder if the green card really is green. :P Don't tell me. I want to find out. :P

Thanks :) Baby girl, 7 pounds 13 ounces, 20 inches :D She has dark blonde roots and light blonde tips (she looked like she came straight out of a salon LOL)...which is kind of amusing since I have dark brown hair and my husband has blonde hair! We were kind of resigned she would have my hair and eyes, genetically speaking...so it was a nice surprise! blush.gif

File was touched again today WOOHOO! Too bad I couldn't add that info to my signature...system said I reached my 40-line limit but I swear when I counted it, it was way under 40! (YOu can find the updates in my timeline though).

Just saw this thread today for the first time, so I thought I'd add our story to the list. We filed September 9, found out our case was transferred to the CSC Oct. 14, my wife had her biometrics taken on Oct. 19, and her I-485 (AOS) was approved on Nov. 8. But no word yet on whether the green card has been "produced" or "sent" yet.

I just looked up our case status for the AOS and EAD on the USCIS Web site, and the AOS is in "Post Decision Activity," not "Card/Document Production". For the EAD, it is still in "Initial Review". Has anyone else had AOS approved but not received word about the EAD? Is that normal?

Have you received your interview date? I know that some have been sped through but some also are in my sitch where we're still having to do the interview. So don't get discouraged.

That could mean your GC will be approved soon, so no EAD may be needed (since having a GC qualifies you for employment already).

No I haven't. My wife's biometric appointment went smooth. It was 10/29. We haven't heard anything since. I hoping we will can at least get the EAD so she can work.
