Hey guys, you are not alone here... We filed our first petition for our K1 in Dec 2007, and we got denied almost 14 months after that... We got married in Jul 2009, and are still thousands of miles apart, so far from each other... But we ARE together in our spirit! And we are very thankful to the wonderful team of people created and maintaining Skype, which made our life MUCH easier! Only God knows when we will finally be together in real life, without having to take apart for long months or years, and and only HE knows when we will forget about this dull and long paper process (if ever!) (Crying): I want to be with my hubbyyyyyyyyyyy!:crying:

No you are right....you are not alone. We have spent two years apart already and facing denial currently. We also have a 2 and half year old daughter together and I can only visit him once a year because the plane ticket is about $2000.00 per person (me and my daughter) not including the funds needed to stay there. He was here when we met and we were married here as well and lived together a year prior to getting married. It's just a long process and some of us have less luck than others. It is very emotionally draining on both husband and wife (especcially newlyweds) to be forced apart. The world has become cold in a sense and the governmental systems have become to complicated to make sense anymore. I pray everyday that my husband and I will find some soil on this earth to live together peacefully.

If you can make it trough a long distance relationship for this long than imagine what you can overcome in the future as a couple.

If I could be anything, I would be a tear.

Born in your eye, Live on your cheek, and Die at your lips.

You are actually farther along in the process than I am. How did you get a second interveiw so quickly after the administratice review and just from looking at your timeline I can't really tell where you are in your process. If you don't mind I would like to know because I'm facing administrastive review and its been a year since our first interveiw denial.

If I could be anything, I would be a tear.

To anyone reading this. My friend EdwardToro just called me as he got off a plane that came in from Colombia. He received an email from his local office of USCIS and his I-212 has been approved. Congratulations Edward. It's nice to know that after four long years you and your family will be reunited back in the states again.

From the bottom of my heart......Congrats!!!

Fernando
