It has been 2 months since NOA1(June 12) and when I log on to USCIS, the last time case was updated was June 15. I have not received RFE, which I guess everybody gets for IMBRA, right? Anyway, I see other cases with similar date to mine, and they have already received RFE and sent it back. On one hand, I am hoping that I have not heard anything because all papers were in order. On the other, its lost in a drawer. thanks for help

Wait a minute now....Di your original i129f form have a imbra form attached or not??????????????

Same here zip, zero and nada. I guess it becomes a true test in how much I love and appreciate my fiance. The process is truly not for the faint of heart that is for sure.

I have notice that most of the people with NOA 1 dates in June that are moving forward are not a the Calif. Center. This must be where most of the problem lies.

Yeah. VSC is fast, CSC is inhumanely slow. VSC processes VSC's work load, CSC does CSC's, TSC's and NSC's now.

This time last year it took CSC 5 months to even look at new applications and that was without the IMBRA stuff. Touches mean very little, after all changing your password will generate a touch.

7-6-2005 Sent paperwork to CSC

7-13-2005 NOA-1

12-27-2005 Called about out of process

1-3-2006 Response sent

2-3-2006 Called because response never made it, started out of process again

4-5-2006 Called again because nothing has happened got the response "nothing has changed"

4-11-2006 Emailed CSC

4-12-2006 Emailed Congressman

4-13-2006 Got response from CSC stating that the file has been requested for processing (Hopefull yeah!)

6-30-2006 Exchange email with CSC--file is being processed contact again in 30 days

7-30-2006 CSC no longer accepts email

8-21-2006 NOA-2 Fantastic!

9-8-2006 NVC supposedly sends to Embassy

10-4-2006 Embassy doesn't have paperwork yet?

10-11-2006 Interview set for 10-25-2006

You are early on in the process. Many people from Mar, Apr, and May are still waiting for IMBRA RFE. No one, and i mean no one can give you and idea how long it may take.

Plan on long wait is the best advice. If if comes in short amount of time consider yourself lucky.

DWAR Why do you constantly respond with the same comments. I am sick of you telling people that they are early in their wait time. Two months is not early. And yes we all know that many are still waiting from March blah blah blah

But the fact is there are many who have been approved with June dates.

My self I got tired of checking everyday and see that the California center just a week ago was working on petitions dated 3/6/2006 now they are working on petitions in FEBUARY, so I called my United States Senator. They were very friendly and asked for me to send information so they can look why my RFI has not been sent at least. This can make you sick when you see people with date same as mine already approved out of Vermont. I realized this is a waiting game and the luck of the draw if you get someone who is actually doing what we TAXPAYERS are paying them to do. My salve and I were hoping to be together for Christmas but that dream is slowly sliding away. I just may have to make another trip.

That's for sure. There have been VJ'ers getting approved with numerous touches and without them. I say keep your chin up, it will happen. But what I can't understand is why they decided to transfer cases from TSC and NSC to CSC. Whose lame a** idea was that. Does anybody know the rationale for that ?

The idea was to consolidate the same type of petitions at service centers, making each center a sort-of expert in their petition type i.e. all I-129Fs at CSC and VSC while NSC and TSC handle employment based (for example - I don't know what they handle at those). The fact that it was done in the middle of the IMBRA fiasco made everything that much worse.

Why did they consolidate the 2 other processing centers to CSC. Does anybody know the reason for this. It would seem that thay should have divided it equally. Could it be that CSC is much biggger and has more resources at their disposal although it sure does not seem like it what with the slow processing times.

CSC has always handled the west coast and VSC the east. Why they didn't split them differently, with NSC to Vermont, for example, is anybody's guess - I doubt you'll find a logical or rational answer anywhere.
