No K! case activity

I have seen many people who have submitted their cases to CSC in June have many "touches". My concern is that it has almost been a month since the last update on my case was posted and I have yet to have a "touched" event. My NOA1 was dated on 6/29/2010 and my last update was 7/7/2010. Should I be worried or just forget about the lack of activity?

Don't worry about it. Some people just don't get updates.

Wouldn't worry about it. My NOA1 was June 8, last touch, June 11. Lots of folks in the June CSC pool are in the same boat, some have many touches, and some have none.

I think they forget about some of us!!!! our NOA 1 is dated 5/5/10 last touch is still 5/6/10, but the thing is we got NOA2 in the mail

10 days ago, and we did sign up for the email updates never got a thing from them.

Our NOA2 is dated 7/16/10 almost 3 weeks and it is still not at NVC yet!!!!

So where do i call to see what is going on with this??? USCIS or NVC ????

I have heard of quite a few folks like this...nothing on the web site, but all of sudden the NOA2 shows up. Are you sure it's not at the NVC??? Did you try the USCIS service number (although I hear its pretty worthless) BUT I think they can look up your case and tell you if its been forwarded to the NVC or not.

Hi Chazzie, your my measurement! you and I have almost exactly the same NOA1 and almost the same last touch....I keep dreaming the NOA2 will come next week.....Maybe your case and my case are sitting on the same person's desk!

Dang! so they really didnt update you....even though online even though its approved and you have your NOA2, they are still showing you in initial review. Nope, unfortunately they don't have a web interface for case enquires. They do have email... the NVC’s e-mail address is NVCINQUIRY@state.gov.(put your case number in the subject line)

They also have an automated line....(dont know what this does but maybe you can check your case???

Did you try the automated line?? I think its 24/7...put in your case number and it tells you 'something'

the last touched on my case on 15 june, hufft...

hopefully all of us get our NOA2 soon, so stressful waiting for this one sheet of paper to come, please come soon....

The reason your case is not coming up is because you cannot check the status of a k1 thru the automated system. The automated system is for immigrant visas, and technically a k1 is a nonimmigrant visa. You need to talk with a live person. When you get thru, select 2, then 1, then 5 to speak with someone and they should be able to help you. Your case is probably already at the embassy. Good Luck!!

I filed 2/13/10 noa 2/24/10 no touches nada zip still waiting filed i129 and i130 spousal visa talk about waiting be patient sit back and relax I know my wife won't be here until next feb at the earliest

Yer NOA-1, Notice of Receipt Date, was 6/29/2010. Expect some movement on or prior to the end of Month 5, or 11/29/2010.

If you get K-1 approval prior to 11/29/2010 - it's both a godsend and blessing.

USCIS published 'average' times on I-129F petitions is 5 months.

re: touches - a touch could mean anything, and with the new USCIS portal, I'm not even sure, anymore, if you'd see a touch.
