I am feeling VERY confident we will see ours by the end of the month. So exciting to start off the year with good news of August approvals! :)

I am feeling VERY confident we will see ours by the end of the month. So exciting to start off the year with good news of August approvals! :)

When we filed, I was pretty confident we would get it in December. Now not so confident we will get it in January. Looks like they might be moving forward faster now that the holidays are over though. Seeing some from middle of August already. Hope both of us get to be one of those lucky ones to get it by the end of January!

Late 2006: began exchanging e-mails and IMs on and off

Around November, 2009: decided to meet in person

February, 2010: met in Thailand (first time)

May, 2010: met in Taiwan (second meeting)

August, 2010: got engaged

NOA1: August 26, 2010

November-December, 2010: met again in Taiwan (third meeting)

NOA2: 1/26/2011!

Well, that is just the thing. They are moving now!! and it is within our time frame from the USCIS. We Should be expecting it this month! Ultimately, everyday that passes is one day closer to actually getting the Noa2. Stay optimistic. We have no control over it, so just hope for the best and look at the good progress that is being made with the CSC. That gives me hope :)

Was anyone able to get through to NVC today? I had to have my mom try calling since I am living abroad and she said she tried over 30 times with no response.

Was anyone able to get through to NVC today? I had to have my mom try calling since I am living abroad and she said she tried over 30 times with no response.

I tried 3 times and got busy signal.... the 4th try was successful. Keep trying!!!

[08-16-10] - Check cashed in Lewisville, Texas

[08-19-10] - Received NOA1 by mail (notice date August 13th)

She said she would keep trying for me throughout the week but I feel bad asking her to take so much time for this since she already has two very demanding jobs that take up most of her time. I wonder if it'd better if I just tried calling the embassy in a few days instead.

I am going to skip calling NVC and just wait for the embassy to send my letter. The petitions aren't at NVC for long anyway.

Yeah I figure that's best for us as well.

We're going to call and make his DR. appointment tomorrow and other than that all we're waiting on is for my dad to send his supporting evidence for the co-sponsor documents :D

Well I finally got through to the Dr. to make an appointment and the earliest they had opened was Feb. 1st, so that's kind of annoying since as I understand it we can't mail in packet 3 until he's had his medical.

I'm unsure as to when to make my doctor's appointment for my medical. One of the requirements at the doctor's office is proof of "Appointment letter or other instructions that you received from the U.S. Government or your legal adviser that show your alien/case number."

When does that come? In the letter from my embassy?

10-21-13----ROC Approved!

10-28-13----Production of 10 Yr Green Card ordered

Yeah I think that stuff will come with your packet 3. We just went ahead with ours because previous people on here from our embassy said they allowed you to book the medical without all of that stuff. You could try booking it and see what they say.

Has anybody else called the CSC and gotten this response?

~"The CSC is requesting 21 more days to process your petition."

Should I call again and try to file a service call since we're past our 5 month mark?

Is this an odd response or some kind of diversion they would typically hand out to shut somebody up?

Okay, now i'm starting to get a little bit antsy. I've been able to get through the five months mostly by not thinking about it, and not expecting to be approved before 5 months, but now that i'm almost at the 5 month mark, i find myself checking the case status every couple of hours, as well as checking my mail box for any good news. This process is starting to drive me insane unfortunately lol.

Mine was approved the week of our 5 month mark. I think five or six days short of it. Don't worry, it's coming! :)
