He was intimidated by the Maven in the flesh, as it turns out, which is a big turn-off. Much reference and deference was made to my education and credentials, and he basically let me run the show. He would start talking about a topic, and then say "Oh, but you probably know so much more about that." I want a man who is secure in his convictions and not wishy-washy, which this one was. He was also too earnest about EVERYTHING and didn't get a lot of my sarcasm. Just wrong and no spark whatsoever. :(

Earnestness! Nooooooooo!

Whatever happened to Indigo skies?

Hanging his head in shame after dissing the blinged-out Joyce signature last week (I think it was last week?).

i thought you gave him a perm and dressed him in polyester, and he's still hiding from that.

Whatever happened to Indigo skies?

Went to Steves for a warm milk and a hug.

Joyce would never force a perm or polyester on anyone! One has to desire the look, otherwise it doesn't work. I think he was lacking that burning desire for grooviness. A real shame.

getting ready to pluck all the hair from my wife's underarms... one by one!

That sounds like a delightful way to pass an evening.

Status: After spending a few hours addressing an ongoing problem in our production environment, there is an unplanned lull in activity. Bunch of people have dropped offline without announcement and the bridge call is quiet. I'd ask what happened but I don't wish to disturb this beautiful silence.

It's been caught in my head since, oh, about 4.18pm today. And then again at 5.12pm.
