Hopefully I'll know something after tomorrows meeting is over. If they're making me drag myself in at 8:30am I hope they have real information. Even if it's bad news.

Sounds good! If I get laid off they pay me a weeks pay for every year ive worked for them. 20 years so far. Pretty nice chunk for fun!

I'll get 2 weeks of pay per year if laid off, but they'll only count the years since my latest rehire. It will be 4 years in a few months. So either 6 or 8 weeks, depending. It would be nice to have a real job during that time, get 2 paychecks for a while. I know that's my wife will want seeing how she could get laid off at any time too. The go off on a drive idea sounds fun but it may not be all that responsible. Hmmm.

I firmly believe all things happen for a reason. Sticking your head in the woe is me hole certainly isnt constructive. Im sure you guys will do just fine no matter what. Besides being irresponsible can be a he11 of a lot of fun.
