Im going for the gold here. I've read on the GOV site that the United States does not allow immigrants to bring their pets.. This can't be true.. At least I hope not... Could I bring my dog to the U.S? Never been to US but I think she needs to pass a medical test right??

What do you guys think?

I dont think thats true as I am flying my dog over from Australia. He needs proof of current annual vaccinations (which I have) and he has a health check and a rabies shot on the day of flying. Apart from that my pet handler is taking care of everything door to airport so it must be quite a common occurrence.

I brought my two cats and one dog. I POEd at a land crossing and was not asked anything about any of the animals but that was just my experience. Airlines may have additional requirements as well, so best to check that out depending on how you are planning on travelling with your pet.
