Salam everyone, is there a fee for your visa when you get approved at the interivew? Do you have to pay for it then or when you pick it up? And how much is the fee if there is one?

Thanks so much in advance, sweetcitywife

My wife didn't have to pay anything for her visa after she got the approval. I believe it is like that for most consulates, but some are different. Perhaps someone else from Morocco can answer your question. Goodluck :star:

Congratulations! Normally, you don't have to pay anything at the U.S consulate if all IV fee and AOS fee are paid at NVC. Contact your consulate, as a double check.

Thank you both for your answers. I did pay alot to the NVC, so i think you are right. As his interview letter with the list of things to bring said no money was required, but just wasnt sure about it totally.

But thanks again for your help, and thanks for the congrats. Now we just have to get through the interview tomorrow with a approval.

Thanks, sweetcitywife

Is this correct? We filed the CR-1 and we were told we would have to pay the new $350 visa application fee and also the finger-printing fee and any other fees at the window BEFORE his interview. I would like to know which is correct also for the ones who did file CR-1. Maybe the fees are for the Fiance visa's???

The best thing to do is take that money with you. If you have to pay, you'll pay. If not, you can just celebrate after the approval. Go out and party hardy. :P

If you filed for CR/IR Visa then you've already paid the IV (Immigrant Visa) Fee to NVC. K-1 Visa applicants pay the Application Fee in the country of interview (some on Interview day some before)

Generally the only thing to pay AFTER any Visa APPROVAL would be delivery fees which are paid directly to the Courier Service and then only if you're not returning to pick-up in person.
