Visa approved. Is it safe to buy tickets?

My wife's visa was approved today. I'm wondering if it's safe for me to go ahead and purchase tickets for the week of July 18. Is that enough time for processing and getting the visa in hand? That gives them a week. Is it enough? Thanks for any responses.

I know you are excited to be with your wife again but the delivery date is not guaranteed by any certain date. If it was me, I would play it safe and wait until she has the visa in her hands before scheduling the flight. That's not to say that she wont received the visa by the 18th but its a risk you have to take. I'd play it safe.

Don't book anything until the visa is in hand. Too much can happen between now and then and you don't want to be caught with HUGE penalties for trying to change flights

Good luck and congrats on the visa

I'd wait till the visa is in her hands. The girl that I met during my interview got her visa after 5 days but the embassy spelled her name incorrectly. She had to go back and get it corrected, had to wait for 2 weeks to get her passport back and ended up having her ticket re-booked.
