Hey guys!

I just checked the status of my case on the USCIS website and after weeks of not being able to see anything this is what I just read:

Post Decision Activity

On August 31, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

I'm assuming I have been approved. Wow! That was quick. Now to wait for the new green card in the mail right???

Yes you're approved and yes that was super fast! You Probably got approved on Friday because you get a card production email first and then a couple days after an approval notice sent email. I'm guessing before the end of the week you'll get both the letter and your card in hand. Congrats! :dance:

Woohoo! Got a text message saying the status of the ROC changed. Checked USCIS and got the following message:

On September 1, 2010, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 day your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. I move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283

Can some one update my status? Thanks. Also last touch was after biometrics. Then a touch today.

All of sudden I come back here to tell you all that it felt like I was expedited or something...got email of approval on Monday the 23rd, then another email a few days later, that said that more clearly, then the card arrived yesterday, after they said to look for it in two months. Wow.

No complaints as my other one expired near the end of August.

Congrats to all of us, and those of you waiting it is your time soon.

Best of luck all new landed permanent residents.

So very grateful this process is done. Could they make it any more expensive? Feels like it was a cash grab. bleh :unsure:

Congratulations to all who have been approved from CSC and VSC !! I'm glad to see those blank spaces on the lists get filled up!! :dance:

For those who have not been approved yet , its only a matter of time :thumbs:Hang in there it will come soon!

On a side note, hubby got the GC in the mail and its really _ green_ this time!

Hi guys! Today, a week after the card production email, I received my card in the mail. All the info on it is correct and I actually like the picture. :lol:
