I emailed the emabassy to see if our case was there yet, if we should expect anything else from them, and ask for a checklist.

This was the reply:

Dear Madam:

Unfortunately, files for August are not in Amman yet.

Your husband needs to bring his passport and the medical exams, no further correspondence will be send to him

Regards

I am surprised this is all they are telling us to bring. Nothing about proof of relationship, passport type fotos, updated forms or anything.

Ally,

I think your file is on the way to Amman..May be this is your reference number 8908506913

You can check it through DHL track by number.when your consulate will receive your packet they will send snail mail with the checklist of required documents and your husband needs to carry those docs during his interview:)

Thanks. I will check DHL later.

I can't believe that email reply from them. I know we need our relationship evidence and the passport photos and original documents because I have the letter from NVC.

This whole process is going to make me crazy! LOL!

Hello to all, do not write much, because I'm not the perfect English, I apologize for any mistakes in grammar, google translator is to blame.

I have a question. Today my husband paid the 404 dollars for my son and my 404, but still can not send the form I-864, my husband is working hard on that today, and alternating their work with the visa process and sometimes there is not much time, we hope we can send tomorrow.

Nvc When you contact us, to send the DS 230, or simply because we can send both forms together (I-864 and DS-230), taking into account that we did all the payments?

Thank you in advance for your answers and best wishes to all who share this same process.

are you gonna try to move the date??

the AVR should update after it arrives at the embassy, i think. (my AVR only updated after it arrived, not when sent)

so you could try checking that everyday!

unless yours already updated to say it was sent?

Wait for the 404 fee to show paid on the internet then print the cover sheet to send it, it should be ready in about 3 days. Good luck

The AVR still just says CC May 11... blah blah blah... so I am checking every day.

I hope this is our package I am tracking!

I couldn't really move the date up because of work (2 jobs) and I needed time to get some things ready, too. July would have been great and we could have been ready, but in ways this is better (and I saved $600 on my ticket over July... LOL). And I will still be here for my daughter's 18th birthday (the day before I leave). But I will miss my son's 21st because it's 2 days before the interview.

Hello joshua0114

Just like NArocks said. " Wait for the 404 fee to show paid on the internet then print the cover sheet to send it, it should be ready in about 3 days." I thike you like to know if you can send both forms together to NVC? Yes you can. But, make sure you send both form in a separate envelope but together in one mailing envelope. What I meant by that AOS I-864 all supporting documents with different envelope and IV DS-230 all supporting documents with different envelope and then you can send them with their corresponding cover sheet and then you can mail it to NVC all together with one mail envelope and express mail to be safe.
