For a married couple, the I-129F is the petition for the K-3 visa... If you don't want to petition for that visa, then don't submit it.

YMMV

Even if you do want a K3 visa, don't submit it. It will delay your CR1 and there will never be any K3 visa issued anyway.

It is believed so and in theory it is quite a logical presumption

The I-130 gets in line.... when you submit the I-129F, they match up the petitions together and gets put back in line. It is believe4d it is put back in line based on the I-129F submission date not the I-130 date.

thanks! so my i-130 submission date is 5th of may, and the i-129f's submission date is 17th, so i guess they go by the 17th huh? or is it the NOA1 of I-129f date?

To the USCIS the NOA1 date IS the submission date

Hi,

It's better to just file the I-130. I-129 is a waste of time and money.

I-129F for K-3 is "fee waived."
