Hello Fellow Members,

First of All I wanna THANK all the members of VJ who have helped me made my rough journey easier and wannna share the good news and the triumph i have gained.

For those who have'nt read my story i just wanna give you some insights and share that in God there is Nothing Impossible.

Here is my story:

I came here on a K1 visa in 2007.Left two minor kids (8 &13 ) in the Philippines who was petitioned (I-130) by my USC husband last year.I was not married to my ex(kid's father) but the biological father's name was in my kid's birth certificate and there was a date and place of marriage in the kid's BC even though there was no marriage at all. It was very complicated..We came to a point that we were gonna cancel the petition to fix the kid's birth certificate first and start the process again.

Some people said it was a fraud since i lied to the immigration about the date and place of marriage in my kid's Birth certificate.

Most people said to cancel the petition but my FAITH in God made me go through the process. I did not cancel and instead gave the immigration as many documents as i could to prove that my kid's are illigitimate. The journey was rough since hubby had an accident and lost his job a month after we filed the petition.

Now my strong Faith in God and my prayers paid off all my fears. My kid's had their interview in US embassy Manila last June 11, 2010 and Thanks God they were approved and granted an IR2 visa.

To those who has situations like mine..don't lose hope TRUST in HIM and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Finally I am done with sleepless nights dealing with immigratin forms and researches and readings and all that.

My kids once here will have their 10 yr. green card and I really THANK YOU ALL for the endless support and encouragement you have extended to us.

Good Luck to all those who are still waiting for approval . Godspeed to ALL.

Thank you all for the support. My mom (legal guardian) went with my kids for the interview. My mom and my son was not asked by the consul. It was my 12 yr. old daughter who was interviewed and they brought with them bunch of photocopies of documents we sent to USCIS and NVC but consul did not bother to look at any of them.

the only question the consul asked to my daughter was what does your step father do for a lving and BINGO..they got approved.YAY!!!

One best proof step parent relationship is me being married to the petitioner.

Thank you,

My kids is IR2 so they are immigrant . They paid $131.00 for Medical at St.Lukes (below 16 yrs.old)The IV Fee which is the Immigrant Visa Fee is $400 we paid at NVC plus the AOS of $70. Correct me if I am wrong.

Like i said they are immigrant Not Nonimmigrant so i am not sure if they are the same. check on the uscis website for the fees. Good Luck.
