Tina, I think Chennai U.S consulate is an exception. They take a validity of 6 months for PCC. But I think rest of the Indian Consulate takes 1 year validity. Loto

That's funny....I have had my congressman following my case since we were denied in january for the k1....they did periodic inquiries for our case, and they hadn't done one in about a month, so I emailed their office. A week later, my senator said our case was with an adjudicator, and to expect and noa2 within 45 days.....2 hours later, I got the approval email from uscis....wonder if that is what sped ours up too?!?!?

Write or fax your senator/congressman. I faxed one congressman and two senators today for their assistance. An hour later, I checked USCIS and had my very first touch ever.

Coincidence? Most likely. But it is reassuring somehow. :unsure:

Contacted my Senator last Thursday. Will call again tomorrow.
