Hi everybody,

I got approved today. God is great. I cannot describe how happy I am today. I am on cloud 9. As you all know it was good faith waiver and i was called for interview. I went with my lawyer. I was calm and composed. After all the building security, we waited in the Hall. After 30 minutes my name was called. The agent was a very good guy. He told us to follow him. He took us to his room. He made me take the oath and then asked me 3 questions:

1. My ex father in laws name.

2. My ex mother in laws name.

3. My ex wife's date of birth.

Thats it and then the golden words. You have been approved. You will get your green card in mail. I was shell shocked. the interview lasted for just 15 to 20 seconds. I cant help dancing as i write this. All the best to everyone remaining in the queue. If your case is genuine, you will get approved.

congratulations!!! WOW! 15-20 seconds.... what a waste of your time and theirs.... but you got approved!!!:dance::dance:

I am in the process of getting a divorce from my USC wife. I have the conditional green card right now. My marriage lasted around 12 months. I feel I have enough evidence for the waiver but am concerned about the duration my marriage lasted. Those who got their waivers approved, can you comment on how long your marriage lasted and if you were called for an interview? Has anyone been denied because their marriage was too short? Thanks.

Coker,

Try to collect as many evidences as you can before you get divorced. Also if you are on good terms with ur wife, get an affidavit from her where she states that the marriage was not done for the green card. You may or may not need a lawyer but its always good to have one. I would first advise to make your marriage work. If you are at a point of no return, then be prepared for the waiver.

Best of luck.

P.s: this is just an advice. get legal help from a lawyer.

I am just wondering. Is USCIS sending email notifaction now regarding the interview schedule? Just asking cause I read somewhere here that s/he got an interview email notification.

You were never a mistake. You were my realization.

S/he must've received the notification through the online status update that an interview notice was sent. USCIS doesn't believe in internet tongue.gif

If you are talking about me, then No, i never got an email. Infact USCIS does not send any emails. They sent me and my lawyer a written notice to appear for the interview.
